Requirements for FEAPU
Requirements for FEAPU
Please, read carefully the ETR for details.
Certification
To become FEAPU, a candidate has to:
1/complete the training programme in an accredited centre in a country that is either full member or associate member of the UEMS (see list at www.uems.net) and
2/pass both parts of the exam (written and oral)
IMPORTANT:
Since 2007, practicing paediatric urologists outside the accredited centres could apply for the exam (minimum period of practicing full time paediatric urology was 4 years). The executive board of the EBPU has decided that this option is no longer needed and the last call for such candidates will be in 2021 taking the exam in 2022.
For more information on the exam, please see the Guidance for FEAPU Qualification examinations.
Re-certification
The certification and title of Fellow of the European Academy of Paediatric Urology is issued for 5 years. After five years every FEAPU should apply for re-certification of the title and provide a report showing collection of 250 CME points (125 out of these must be pure paediatric urology CMEs). The application will be reviewed by the EBPU.
All documents should be sent to the administrative coordinator of the MJCPU. Only complete files with the appropriate forms (only online, the link is available when the submission period is open) will be accepted by the EBPU.
