During 29th ESPU Congress in Helsinki, Prof Dr. Petra De Sutter has given a special lecture about DSD in light of all the reports from UN, HRW and the Council of Europe. As these statements might impact us (the Paediatric Urologists) and our practice, clearly a debate is needed between the concerned parties. This lecture might be considered a first step in opening that debate.

The lecture is titled: ‘DSD: At the Crossroad of Medicine Human Rights and Politics’. Prof. Dr. De Sutter is aiming to enlighten us about the the view on Human Rights and Politics behind the Council of Europe Document.
