RESULTS
Mini PCNL and mini ECIRS were successfully performed. The former surgery took 180 minutes
and the latter 150 minutes. We did'nt found any difficulty with fragment aspiration during dusting
with ClearPetraR sheath. The nephrostomy tube was removed in the 2
nd
post operative day (POD)
and the ureteral cateter 3 weeks later. Patient was discharged at the 4
th
POD in both cases. Stone
analysis demonstrated a struvite stone. The KUB X-ray after surgery showed a small residual frag-
ment that was treated with ESWL.
CONCLUSIONS
ClearPetraR sheath is a valuable tool in the era of small accesses. The vision and aspiration during
dusting accelerated the procedure in a complete staghorn stone. Further clinical evaluation and
procedures are needed.
